It is sometimes possible to be treated at the time of the evaluation, but that is not certain because an informed consent should not be signed unless you understand both benefits and possible side-effects.   If you desire to be ready for treatment please read the General Summary Interview , the examination process explanation (above) and the "how we treat" summary (above). If you understand those, you should be ready to discuss risks and benefits prior to signing an informed consent.  Please come 20-30 minutes early and announce that you  need  to discuss the consent.  We can almost always free up your nurse to visit with you and, regardless of who goes over it with you, Dr. Reeves will be available to discuss remaining questions and of course examine in detail to determine what, if any, treatment is recommended.     Click here to return to the list of topics
